Baramulla, March 25 (KNO) : Accusing NC of adopting Hippocratic attitude, AIP President Er. Rasheed has asked NC to come clean on its alliance with Congress. After filing nomination papers at Baramulla, while talking to media persons Er. Rasheed said that Akbar Lone’s claim that NC is more dangerous than PDP speaks volumes about double standards NC has been following since 1947. Er. Rasheed said “So called secular forces seem to be having just one agenda to grab power and play with the sentiments and emotions of Kashmiris. In a statement issues to KNO, said that Farooq Abdullah talks day and night of supporting congress but NC’s parliamentary candidate Mohammad Akbar Lone calls Congress more evil and harmful than BJP and both congress and NC need to tell the truth about their agenda of exploitation and vote grabbing politics. If congress is more evil than BJP how can the party support congress in Jammu, Poonch and Srinagar parliamentary seats and is there not a feeling from Akbar Lone’s statement that party may tie up with BJP in near future and that is why party has called BJP lesser even than Congress.” Accusing Raja Aijaz Ali of exploiting the sentiments of Pahari community Er. Rasheed said that just being a member of a particular community does not mean that any person has a right to mislead the deprived and oppressed masses of that community. Going by Raja Aijaz’s logic he should not then even dare to seek support from other communities and ethnic groups”. Lashing out at PDP Er. Rasheed said that Mehbooba Mufti can go to any extent to get power and can join hands with any one and speak anything which she may never believe in. Er. Rasheed reiterated that 2019 parliamentary election is a test check to the wisdom and political maturity of masses and if they want their sentiments and emotions to be represented in the parliament they have no option but to vote for AIP. Appealing masses to donate money for his election campaign, Er. Rasheed asked people to judge his ten years tenure as MLA before deciding to vote for any particular party and ask their conscience who can represent them better in parliament.(KNO)
